EDO 2020: We Are Solidly Behind Governor Obaseki - Hon. Aguele

It was another home coming for leadership of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Esan South-East local government  area as over 1000 All Progressive Party, (APC) members in Ewohimi renounced their membership and pitched tent with the PDP family.
While deceiving the decampees at Ewohimi, the Esan South-East local government council, Hon. Prince Peter Aguele said: "the local government has confined to received new members into the People's Democratic Party, PDP, an indication that the people are solidly behind Governor Godwin Obaseki and his deputy, Comrade Philip Shaibu because of their developmental strides across Edo Central Senatorial District since the past three and half years."
The former PDP governorship aspirant, Barr. Ken Imansuagbon known as " the rice man" said that the victory of Governor Obaseki and his deputy at the poll come September 19, is a sure deal and call members in other political parties to come join PDP who he described as the winning team.

Speaking at the rally, the leader of the decampees, Barr. Matthew Ukpebor spoke on the reason why they left the APC to pitched their tent with PDP and pledged their unreserved support to the reelection of Governor Godwin Obaseki and his deputy, Comrade Phillip Shaibu in the forthcoming September 19 election.

"Obaseki stand for fairness. He has promised that Ishan will legally in fairness and equity should have their turn in 2024 election," he said.
Earlier, the leaders of the PDP in Esan South-East local government area paid a courtesy visit to the Onojie of Ewohimi, His Royal Highness,  Peter Ojiefoh Usifoh  in his palace.
