The Executive Chairman of Esan South-East Local Government Council Hon. Peter Aguele has donated palliatives to people with disabilities in the area.
Hon. Aguele speaking through his media aide, Comrade Ehikioya Agboga said that the era where people with disabilities are only considered for elections is over.
According to him, "the disabled are part of the society and should be accorded equal opportunities with other Nigerians. Nigerians including philanthropists and employers of labour should please to rise to the occasion and assist the disabilities people in the society to acquire knowledge and exhibit same in the labour market.
Hon Aguele assured the beneficiaries that his government will continue to accord them their due recognition and privileges as Nigerians and vowed to carry everyone along through his already established open door policy.
The council Boss promised to further look into their plight with a view to making lives more comfortable for them.
Hon. Aguele informed the beneficiaries that their collective welfare and wellbeing was among the cardinal objectives of Governor Godwin Obaseki/Comrade Philip Shaibu administration and appreciated their roles and support towards the re-election of the Executive Governor and Deputy.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiary, the President Citadel of Hope, Mr. Ehinomen Okoeguale thanked the council chairman for his fatherly role and love towards towards the welfare of the disabled. (Though Emotional) but specially appreciate Hon. Aguele for his exceptional love towards them and pray God Almighty to bless and protect him and thanked the government for the palliatives donated to them.
