EDO 2020: Obaseki Has Done Well, deserves second chance - Arase.

One of the leaders of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Oredo Local Government Area, Prince Eghosa Arase has said that the performance of Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo state has guaranteed his victory across the eighteen local government areas of the state.

Arase stated this while sharing his thoughts with jounalists in Benin City on the chances of the PDP and Governor Obaseki in Edo State 2020 governorship election.

Arase said:  "the coming of Governor Godwin Obaseki to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is a good omen and welcome development to Edo state. It's only the PDP that can truly develope Edo State and transform the political structure in Nigeria to higher heights."

While narrating his ordeal in the hands  of members of the defunct Action Congress, AC during the election of former Governor Oserheimen Osunbor, Prince Arase noted that though the PDP did not come to his aid then, he remained loyal and dedicated to the ideals of the party as a founding member and has never at any time defected to another party. 

He promised to work with notable politicians in Oredo such as Senator Matthew Urhoghide, Hon. Osaro Idah, Hon. Omoregie Ogbeide- Ihama, Andrew Idahosa and other leaders to deliver up to seventy percent of Oredo votes to Governor Godwin Obaseki in the 19 September election.

Prince Arase enumerating Governor Obaseki's achievements which included his educational reforms that attracted other states as it continues to run in the Covid-19 lock down, the completion of the abandoned state secretariat, the establishment of a creache at the state secretariat, dualisation of Ekehuan road, establishment of the 55 mega watts alternative electricity power supply currently undergoing test run among others, Arase who is a Benin based business man  said the leaders have continued to receive several batches of APC leaders into the PDP in his Ward 10 Oredo zone 3 and many more are still interested in joining the party.
