EDO 2020: Expects Free Education and Bursary From My Government. - Hon. Agol

By Simeon OSAJIE

As the Edo 2020 gubernatorial election gather momentum, political parties are strategising towards their success at the poll. They have also intensified their campaigns with rallies and mini rallies and other legitimate means to canvassing for votes from the electorates.

While seeming traditional rivalry has almost turned members and supporters of the People's Democratic party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC) to soldiers at war, other parties participating in the September governorship Election are calling for campaign of issue based in the interest of Edo electorates.

Advocate of this crusade is the Edo State governorship candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples' Party (NNPP),  Hon. Agol Ebun Ttacy.

Hon. Agol said, "Edo state deserves more than what these traditional political parties are offering".
Hon. Agol, while in an interview with the9jatrend crew in Benin City said "the tensed atmosphere these parties have thrown Edo state into is unbecoming, stressing that, what the electorates want to hear is how will you better the lives of the Edo people".

The NNPP governorship candidate said: "Our party, when elected into office come September 19th, 2020, will re-introduce the free education policy as well as approved and dispense bursary award to Edo indigens in any tertiary institution across  Nigeria".

"It is an overlooking of priority for any government not to invest in the future of it's youths, via education, but chose to spend resources on unproductive section which breeds thuggery and other miscreants", she said.
Sharing in this vision, the Deputy Governorship candidate of the party, Engr. Jonathan Enobhayisobo said, "a vote for the New Nigeria Peoples' Party (NNPP) is a vote for a better Edo State".
