Edo 2020: Victory Well Deserved As Hon. Itulah Congratulates Obaseki And Shaibu

Former Speaker, Edo State House of Assembly and two time member, Federal House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Friday Itula has congratulated Governor Godwin Obaseki and Rt. Hon. Philip Shaibu over the well deserved victory recorded at the poll. 

In a atatement issued and signed in his country home, Uromi, Esan North-East Local Government Area, Edo State, the former Speaker who was also the Deputy Coordinator, Edo Central PDP Campaign Organization for Obaseki/Shaibu 2020 project noted, "the Governor's victory was not only deserving as a result of his performance in the last three years but also show that, the voice of men is truly the voice of God as his commitment to finally eradicate godfatherism and political thuggery in Edo State gave the very needed victory for the emancipation of Edo people from political slavery."

Barr. Itulah who admonished the Governor and his Deputy saying, his party, the PDP had very good products to sell and following the MEGA Agenda of the duo to plan Edo for the next 30 to 50 years as well as their belief to consider Edo people first, it was easy to convince Edo voters the need to reelect the Wake and See Governor of Edo State and his Deputy. 

"A time is come when people entrusted with the responsibility to serve the people should henceforth be committed to such accountability and that the victory of Governor Godwin Obaseki was not a signal to the fight against godfatherism but a commenced revolution to stop same in Nigeria to help facilitate human, infrastructural and technological development in our state and Nigeria at large."

Barr. Itulah also congratulated Edo people worldwide and also appreciated the people of Edo Central for believing in the Edo Central PDP Campaign Organization for Obaseki/Shaibu 2020 Project. He said, the victory of the Governor is a victory to developmental advancement in our society.

"It is time for politicians to have sober reflection and charge themselves accordingly to reflect the current political trend and reality of Edo State, the victory of Governor Godwin Obaseki is a clear signal that, there will be no imposition of persons on the people and performances were going to be standard of measuring politicians henceforth, Itulah concluded.
