Senior Pastor, Chapel of Deliverance International Ministry Incorporated, Pastor I. K. Izedonmwen has called on Edo State and Federal Governments to wake up to their responsibilities and protest the lives of its citizens as enshrined in the Nigeria Constitution.
Pastor Izedonmwen made this call during the Sunday service of the Ministry at Uteh Headquarters, Upper Mission Extension in Ikpoba-Okhai Local Government Area of Edo State.
In his homily titled, "A Time Like This," Pastor Izedonmwen opined, "A time like this we are not safe in this state, the country, things that suppose to be right is going wrong, where should we go from here, a time like this that brothers and sisters close to you are regard as suspect, where do we run to.
"A time like this where men value animals than human being, if what happen to that woman who stole pot of soup happen to that man, he will carry AK47, and a time like this when woman go to bed with her son, father go to bed with his daughter."
Going further, the CDM senior pastor said, "At a time like this, l remember years back when l bought a bag of cement for my father at N12.50k, at a time like this a bag of cement is sold at N3,800, l also remember way back while eating in your dinning room, you rush to the tap to fetch water. How do we find ourselves in this situation.
In a time like this, do we really know God as our person Lord and Savour. In all these, God Almighty is their to keep you alive.
"The question we should put to ourselves is, do we really know God as your savoir; the hope of a through believer is judgement," he added.
