LG Party Chairmen To Inaugurates 6 MIMC In Ward Level, Says Edo PDP Chairman

Edo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has directs the Local Government Party Chairmen to inaugurate the recently formed 6 Member Impact Monitoring Committee in the Wards in their respective local government areas not later than Monday, 12th July, 2021. 


The State Chairman, Dr. Tony Aiziegbemi said the 6 member Impact Monitoring Committee is to supervise, monitor and report progress of the Ward Impact Monitoring Committee to the state secretariat every two weeks during the period of the INEC Continuous Voter Registration exercise. 


In a press statement issued and signed by the State Publicity Secretary of the party, Chris Nehikhare stated that the Local Government Party Chairmen should also furnish the PDP State Secretariat names and phone numbers of the members of the Committee.


The statement further added, "For the avoidance of doubt, the Local Government Impact Monitoring Committee is made up of: The Local government party Chairman, The Local government party Secretary, The Local government party Woman Leader, The Local government party Youth Leader and two others nominated by the Local government."


The party enjoins all Edo people, especially the members of the Impact Monitoring Committee to participate in the enlightenment, mobilization and monitoring of the process as elections are fast approaching, and your vote is the only way for you to be heard.
