The 9th Edition of the Sergius Oseasochie Ogun Foundation (SOOF) mock examination for over two thousand final year secondary school students drawn from both public and private schools in Esan South-East/Esan North-East Local Government Areas of Edo State took place on the 12th December, 2020 at Uromi and Ubiaja respectively.
The examination which held simultaneously at St. Francis College, Ubiaja and Ogbidi Learning Centre, Uromi was hitch-free and devoid of irregularities.
The president of the Foundation and member of the green chambers of the National Assembly, Hon. (Barr) Sergius Ogun and his amiable wife, visited both centres to ensure proper supervision and strict adherence to the requisite standards for the conduct of external examination at the post-basic education level.
Following the successful conduct of the examination, the best 600 (Six Hundred) final year students with the highest scores will receive free enrollment fees from the foundation to enable them put in for the 2020/2021 NECO/SSCE.
Each beneficiary will be rewarded with N15,000 even as the overall best six candidates will be awarded automatic scholarship to any university of their choice at a later date to be announced by the Foundation.
Thousands of indigent final year students have benefitted from the Foundation's free NECO/SSCE enrollment scheme and undergraduate scholarship scheme over the years.
Speaking to journalists, the Founder of the Foundation Hon. Sergius Ogun promised to spread the Mock Examination to the five local government areas in Esan Central Senatorial District, of Edo State.
